e3 Platform. Engineering a New Driving Dimension
At the heart of the DENZA Z9GT is the revolutionary e3 Platform, the brand’s most advanced intelligent vehicle architecture and the first of its kind in a DENZA model.
Powered by a Tri-motor AWD system producing up to 850 kW, 1,156 PS and 1,210 Nm of torque, the Z9GT accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds while delivering up to 701 km (NEDC) of pure electric driving range. This combination of supercar performance and long-distance capability allows drivers to enjoy exhilarating acceleration without compromising everyday usability.
Yet the e3 Platform is about far more than outright performance. It fundamentally changes how the vehicle behaves in everyday driving. Rear axle steering of up to 15° and a class leading turning radius of just 4.62 metres enable exceptional manoeuvrability in tight urban environments, narrow streets and confined parking spaces. Features such as e3 Parking, Crab Mode, Pencil Compass Turn and Vehicle Motion Control (VMC) further enhance agility and precision, allowing the vehicle to manoeuvre in ways conventional vehicles simply cannot.
The experience is further enhanced by the DiSUS-A Dual Chamber Air Suspension system, which continuously adjusts damping and stiffness based on road conditions. Whether cruising on highways or navigating uneven surfaces, it delivers a refined balance of comfort, stability and dynamic control.
BYD Second Generation Blade Battery 2.0. Fast, Safe and Reliable
Supporting the e3 Platform is BYD's latest Second Generation Blade Battery 2.0, designed to deliver greater convenience, higher efficiency and uncompromising safety.
With a 122.49 kWh battery operating on a 1,000 V high voltage architecture, the Z9GT supports BYD Flash Charging Technology, enabling charging from 10% to 70% in just 5 minutes and from 10% to 97% in 9 minutes. This breakthrough in ultra-fast charging redefines the EV ownership experience by significantly reducing downtime and bringing the industry one step closer to eliminating range anxiety.
The battery also delivers approximately 5% higher energy density compared to the previous generation, while maintaining the industry leading safety standards of the BYD Blade Battery family. Having undergone rigorous testing, including the nail penetration test, it demonstrates outstanding thermal stability and safety assurance even under extreme conditions.
Design Philosophy. Elegance in Motion
The DENZA Z9GT features a sculpted, silk inspired silhouette that blends aerodynamic efficiency with expressive luxury design. Signature elements include Dual Line LED headlamps, Hourglass taillights and Meteor Welcome Lighting, creating a distinctive and sophisticated visual identity on the road. Its proportions are carefully engineered to express both strength and elegance, embodying the philosophy of “Elegance in Motion”.
Inside, the Z9GT delivers a refined luxury environment designed for comfort, convenience and emotional well-being. Premium materials including genuine leather and real wood trim define the cabin atmosphere, complemented by electrically operated doors with soft close functions, and front seats with active side bolsters for enhanced support during spirited driving.
Comfort and practicality are further elevated with dual 50W wireless charging pads for front occupants, as well as a single 50W wireless charging pad in the rear armrest, a Devialet® 20 speaker premium audio system, and a large capacity compressor refrigerator with heating function. Storage versatility includes a 495 litre rear trunk and a 53 litre front trunk, ensuring practicality for both daily use and long distance travel.

At the centre of the cabin is an industry leading 3nm high performance processor powering the infotainment system, delivering fast response times and seamless connectivity.

DENZA Z9GT Malaysia Debut on 15 July 2026
The DENZA Z9GT will make its Asia Pacific debut in Malaysia on 15 July 2026. Following its official launch, the public will be able to view and test drive the All-New DENZA Z9GT at all DENZA Premium showrooms nationwide from 16 July 2026 onwards.
Supporting its arrival, BYD Malaysia plans to progressively introduce BYD Flash Charging infrastructure across selected DENZA Premium showrooms, further strengthening the brand's commitment to delivering a seamless luxury ownership experience and advancing the future of premium electric mobility.
